Market Autorisation DataBase

Market Autorisation DataBase (MADB) is a solution for organising parallel distribution authorisations (notifications) from European Medicines Agency (EMA).

PublicationsNotifications are released regularly on a bimonthly basis in an unstructered PDF format. MADB presents all published notification information in a structured manor, optimised for easy lookup; by parallel distributer, product name, origin/destination state or any custom lookup filters required.

The data itself is extracted with a third party tool and then imported to MADB with an developed client side application (DVT), that semi-automatically clearance, validate and verify the data before import.

The solution help sales and manegerial staff to be in controle of the data, saving time looking up information and insures correct and up to date information available with a few clicks with a mouse.

The application is Internet browser-based (IE 8) and can be deployed within an organisation, without any client software installs.
It is build on latest Microsoft technology (2010) and comes with network authentication and role based security cabability.

Requirements:

Clientside: Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, Microsoft .NET Framework 4. Client machine and user must be a domain member
Serverside:  Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Micorosft SQL 2008 (Express). Server must be domain member.
